You're just too good to be true

I got my nails done yesterday. Divine acrylic, superlong nails. To tell you the truth, they're a bit freaky. In a good way though! I just didn't remember having long nails was this much trouble - for instance, I have to be extra careful when pulling on my jeans, closing buttons and typing. But I think they're worth it, especially when I paid only around 18 euros for them! they make my fingers look so long and slender, not some like kid's hands. The manicurist wanted to make the nails square but if there's anything "trendy" that I hate (and there really is, believe it or not), it's square nails. They look so.. so unnatural. And they don't make my fingers look as good as normal, oval-shaped nails do. The only thing that I regret maybe just a little bit is that I won't be able to play cello while being in Finland. I can hardly type normally so the idea of trying to play my cello is just ridiculous.

Tomorrow's trip is a bit stressing, I had some trouble with Mini's passport and getting all the right info in it. All I can do is hope that I have everything that Mini needs so that we can travel without any problems!

I had to go downtown today to visit the vet just once more but the traffic was so jammed that I had to take a taxi from the main post office. The driver kept on cursing and swearing at the other drivers but he was nice and I was on time, thanks to him, so I tipped him generously (IN CASH, mind you). He's not the only one who hates the traffic jams, I can never predict WHEN they take place so I'm always late. Like, today I had 30 min time to get from the middle of Boulevard to the other side of the city, the end of Knez Mihailova that is. And guess what? I did it in 25 min! Wearing heels! I still can't believe it. I must be in better shape that I've been in a long while.

I'm off to pack my clothes for tomorrow's trip. The bus is coming to get me and my dad between 10 and 11 a.m., so hopefully we'll be on time in Budapest, I think our flight leaves at 19:25 or something. And then I'll be in Helsinki! Wow. Weird.
