I went to sleep at 5 a.m. last night and thought I could wake up just a tad later than usually this morning, but NO.. my brother, the younger big brother, who was away last night with some Finnish guys who came here to buy some sarplaninac dogs, he came home at 10:30 a.m. WITH the dog people and I was still lying in bed, looking most likely like a corpse. Now, this would all be okay IF I had a real room with four walls and a door and all that jazz, but since my room is basically just the extension of our kitchen, you know, the area where you normally put the dining table, and I have only 3 walls (one of which is made out of two book shelves) and pretty much no door, and you can see my bed when you walk in the door - this is NOT okay. He should've called first. I had to sit on my bed under the covers for a good half an hour, hoping that they'd leave soon because there is no way I'm going to dash to the bathroom in front of anyone while wearing just a tee (no bra) and not having my face on. No way in hell. This happened to me last summer while I was in Finland and had borrowed my 14-year-old sisters white tee to sleep in. My oldest brother's friend (the one who at least used to like to drink a lot and then try to get home on all fours) popped by and wanted to hang out with me and Marina in the kitchen and just would not leave. And I was there in that tee which was too small, thinking how he must enjoy torturing people like that. Never again, I say. I'd rather sit hiding under the covers for 2 hours than risk someone (who I don't want to see me) seeing the morning me.
Nothing else to report. Over and out.
